– Original MG Metro 6R4 Clubman car (1 of 200 build), 3ltr. original engine with upgrade 300 reliability engine kit when new
– fitted with carpets and sound proofing when new (maybe one of the 25 cars which came from Gates)
– some body panels are in carbon kevlar apart from the normally fibreglass panels
– 3 registered previous owners from new
– First owner was Stan Clark, who is the brother of Roger Clark. Stan Clark owned a Austin Rover dealership in Leicestershire, Clarke‘s cars, where the car was displayed in the show room
– She was D registered when I bought from John Price in December 2009 ; old papers came with the car, the car is now located in Germany without registration.
– at the moment she had 7873 miles on the counter
– new AP clutch and crankshaft sealing fitted in 2019
– new cam belts , oil pump and water pump belt, new engine oil and brake fluid fitted in 2020
– since then only yearly small test drives on my private yard and dry stored
