KG Motorsport are pleased to offer this exceptionally well-documented, M-Sport-built Ford Fiesta RS WRC.

Produced in June 2011, M-Sport chassis 19 competed at World Rally Championship level initially with Dennis Kuipers during 2011. It was subsequently driven by Ott Tänak for the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team during the 2012 season.

LATER HISTORY

Following its works-era WRC programme, chassis 19 continued its international career in WRC and RRC-related specification before passing into private hands and competing on national events in the UK and Ireland.

The car was later acquired for a comprehensive restoration by a UK private collector, lovingly kept in that collection, then acquired and now offered for sale by KG Motorsport, this car must truly be seen to be appreciated.

COMPREHENSIVE BARE-SHELL REBUILD

Chassis 19 has undergone a meticulous bare-shell rebuild by RMC McCrory Motorsport, with the work carried out by a specialist former M-Sport technician.

The rebuild is extensively documented through detailed photographs and video covering the process from the bare shell onwards. This can be shared with genuine, serious interested parties.

RECENT PREPARATION

The turbo has also been fully rebuilt and has covered zero kilometres since rebuild.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Two Sparco FIA 8853-2016 harness sets, valid through 2029.

The fitted RECARO Pro Racer Ultima 1.0 seats are retained for display and show use. These seats are period correct and a niche valuable asset to the providence of the woks specification of the car, they are the exposed carbon Recaros made iconic in cars of this period and are now unobtainable in the open market, this car boasts a perfect pair of these iconic seats Although their labels state 2026, this model’s FIA homologation was subsequently withdrawn and the seats are no longer valid for competition.

The plumbed-in extinguisher is a genuine in-period WRC-style system appropriate to the car.

RARITY AND SIGNIFICANCE

Chassis-history database catalogues 57 Fiesta RS WRC/RRC chassis, with only 31 recorded as active and five recorded as destroyed.

Within this limited group, chassis 19 stands apart through its original M-Sport documentation, identifiable World Rally Championship history, fifth-place finishes with both Dennis Kuipers and Ott Tänak, and its comprehensively documented bare-shell rebuild.
