Alfa Romeo GTV Turbodelta
This vehicle, which holds FIA Group 4 homologation, was part of the fleet used by Autodelta for research, development, and racing. Beneath its hood roars one of the rare turbocharged, carbureted engines—specially developed by the Alfa Romeo racing department, then led by the legendary engineer Carlo Chiti.
Reflecting the competitions in which it originally took part, the car is presented in a rally configuration. Certain modifications are unique, the result of the Alfa Romeo racing department’s experimentation with innovative mechanical solutions.
The first registered owner of this GTV Turbodelta was “Alfa Romeo Autodelta S.p.A.,” suggesting it was used by the manufacturer itself for competitive purposes.
To this day, the car retains its Group 4 rally configuration and is ideally suited for historic events and rallies, such as the “Eifel Rally.”
