This car has undergone a full professional high end bare shell nut & bolt rebuild by renowned Evo specialist and highly regarded AMS Arnside Motorsport in the UK, it was sourced from auction in Japan as a Grade 3.5 / B with 56,391Km on then imported to the UK in 06-2020 upon which it was driven a few miles for drive appraisal purposes prior to a full strip down.
The chassis was totally corrosion free with only minor surface rust evident from stone chips on the underside this was dealt with a full underside preparation & repaint process using high end rust preventative paint’s to the factory colour specification.
Due to 20 years of seasoned weather in Japan it wasn’t possible to get the exterior paint back the high standard this car deserved so the decision was taken to give it a full respray, so every single panel was stripped so a high end re spray could be carried out to restore it back to the gleaming Scotia White it left the factory with.
All mechanical items have been stripped down where necessary to enable them to be media blasted then either re powder coated or re painted to Factory colour specs then reassembled renewing any parts necessary , all alloy components have been vapour blasted to give a new factory appearance (no alloy items have simply just been painted silver for them to look new), all bolts have been media blasted and re coated to factory spec’s, original decals on all components have been re produced and applied.
The amount of work and detail gone into this car is simply stunning to re-create an as new condition Evo 6 RS as if it has just come off the production line in Japan.
It has the correct titanium-aluminide RS Turbo fitted ,along with the RS gear ratio set with the lower 4.8 RS final drive option (this was confirmed when the gearbox was stripped down to be vapour blasted). Factory fitted options of Brembo brakes, Air Con and 17” OZ wheels are also present.
