MITSUBISHI LANCER WRC (CHASSIS 4)

This particular car was driven by Tommi Mäkinen in the 2001 Telstra Rally Australia and later by Jani Paasonen in the 2002 Neste Rally Finland. Following its works career, the car entered private ownership in the UK, where it competed in a further four national rallies.

After we acquired the car earlier this year, it was sent to Normandales in the UK for a complete exterior repaint. Normandales was the company responsible for painting these Mitsubishi WRC cars when they were built, making them the ideal choice to restore the car’s finish. They also reapplied the original factory livery, ensuring it remains true to its period works appearance.

Now presented in tarmac specification, but fully rebuilt gravel kit will also be supplied with the sale of the car

Following the cosmetic restoration, the car was entrusted to Ronan McCrory of RMC Motorsport for a comprehensive mechanical inspection and check-over. To preserve its originality, the interior and cockpit were left untouched and have not been repainted.
