Welcome to the sale of my 1965 Mk1 Mini. Some background first in that I bought this one in 2018 as it brought back a huge amount of memories of my late father’s.

An incredibly solid little car with zero rust on It, over the last two years we’ve carried out a transformation to what you see now. The beauty of where it’s at is that it can either be a Rally car, race car (all steel and glass so ideal FIA Appendix K) or a nice Sunday driver. A huge amount of new parts fitted during the rebuild to competition spec.

Shell:

Exterior taken to bare metal (no filler anywhere) and repainted in Almond Green/ Old English white, new hinges etc along with new laminated screen. Cooper Grill, Badging etc.

Engine bay, repainted 5 years ago and is again immaculate.

New Scottish spec sump guard professionally fitted.

Interior:

Again bare metalled and New fully MSUK compliant seat rails professionally fitted, New Safety devices FIA spec Cage professionally fitted along with Harness bar.

Fuel and brake lines run inside. Moto-Lita steering wheel with drop bracket on column. Works dash panels. Cut off switch fitted.

New FIA seat and FIA belt. (only drivers currently fitted)

Engine/Gearbox:

1275cc A+ on hif 44 with rod change gearbox on 3.1 diff, ported head, MD246 cam, very torquey and very reliable (ideal for regularity rallying).

Also comes with a pair of 1 ½” Twin SU’s on manifold just rebuilt

Along with a 4 speed Jack Knight straight cut, close ratio gearbox.

Brand new braided wiring loom also fitted

Suspension/ Brakes :

Single bolt solid mounted front sub frame , brand new Minispares cones and hi los all around plus camber and caster arms. Spax Shocks

7 ½” S discs and calipers

Other:

New centre exit Maniflow skidded exhaust system, 4 x miniltes on decent Yokohama tyres

If you want to go down the rally route, I can supply a Brand new extinguisher kit and tripmeter system for £500 more.

There we have it. An incredible opportunity to purchase a car that you can go a number of ways in but the real hard work (and cost) on the shell etc has been done. Running and Driving it even put n an appearance at our recent Wedding.

I feel the asking price is very fair given the condition and specification.
