Peugeot 206 LHD Cup Car.
These fantastic cars don’t come up for sale every day and we have the perfect example here.
This car has been maintained regardless of cost and has never wanted for anything.
The car’s Cup engine has been modified with a lightened and balanced bottom-end including knife-edged crankshaft and lightened flywheel. The pistons are now forged. It has the PTS sump baffle kit while maintaining the alloy sump.
The cylinder head has been gas-flowed and rally cams with vernier timing wheels added.
Fuel is delivered by AT Power throttle bodies and controlled with a DTA ECU.
The original Cup Car exhaust manifold and system have been retained.
The original PTS 6-speed gearbox has done zero km since a full rebuild and retains the 5.6 final drive and Cup Car gear ratios. The ZF LSD has had new plates.
Suspension is all Genuine Peugeot Sport Cup Car and in first class condition. The car is in forest spec.
The braking system has the 4 pot Alcon calipers and PTS discs on the front and Cup-Car rear disc brakes. All fully braided hoses, fly off handbrake and brake bias valve.
Sump and tank guards are genuine PTS Cup-Car items and the sump guard has only done a couple of events from new.
The shell is the original Cup-Car item with full welded in cage complete with manufacture plate. Jacking points have been added to the sills and the shell is in excellent condition with MSA spec mudflaps.
The car has a custom made wiring loom with all FIA spec electronic power kill and electronic plumbed in fire system. It has a heated windscreen, flocked dash, carbon door cards, spot light wiring, stack rev counter & helmet holder. 6 point aircraft buckle harness’s and seats and belts are in date and in perfect condition.
The car is sat on DMack DMG2 forest tyres with a spare which have had little use on Compomotive Peugeot Sport wheels.
There is also a full PTS Lamp Pod with the car with quick release fixing on the bonnet.
The car is MSA Log Booked and ready to compete in.
The spares include boxes of lights and suspension arms etc A complete front sub-frame and tarmac rear beam. 4 no 17″ wheels with Michelin slicks. 6 no 15″ Compomotive Peugeot sport wheels with Pirelli K6 Gravel tyres, all excellent, 2 brand new. 6 no snow tyres, all good (2 brand new). Approx 14 tarmac tyres and a selection of wheels.
Car is currently on SORN and will be sold with a 12 month MOT.
These are probably one of the best FWD rally cars available for the money and this is the perfect example.
