Description
For sale Subaru Impreza GC from the end of its production, in one of the most sought-after WRX Type RA STI version 6 trims – a true rarity. Only 146 were produced for the Japanese market, 115 of which were white, 30 yellow, and 1 blue! A collector’s item, and I treated it as such 🙂
It was the lightest and most advanced road going version of its time, with rally homologation, used to build an absolutely fast rally weapon on special stages. The Type RA model stands for “Rally/Race Altered,” which focuses on being a fully-fledged rally model. It includes weight reduction measures and a range of special upgrades for an incredible driving experience. Being an STI version, it also includes various minor tuning features specific to STI models. Finally, as a limited-edition model, it includes additional unique enhancements:
– WRC roof hatch
– Adjustable differential lock allows you to adjust the degree of locking of the limited-slip differential as needed. Adjustable torque to the rear wheels in a 70:30 front or 50:50 split locking system
– Helical front differential and R180 rear differential with LSD
– Short steering rack
– Lightweight aluminum hood and thinner glass
– No ABS, no side skirts, no fog lights, no rear wiper
– Manual/automatic water jet intercooler

Imported from Japan in 2018 and I’ve owned it ever since. Full paper and photo documentation of course has been retained (evaluation card from the Japanese auction, export certificate, customs duties, etc.) – the mileage is documented at 153,278 km. The car was a complete stock car; someone simply used it as a daily driver in Japan. In 2022, the car was converted to LHD by CONRADO RALLY&RACING, a well-known and respected rally club specializing in Subaru. At the same time, the engine was assembled with top-of-the-line parts without any expense, and the gearbox and rear differential were overhauled (invoices are available, of course).

– Afterwards, the car was taken to a detailing studio for paint correction and application of wax and protective coating.
– Since then, the car has covered 500 km, so everything is still NEW.
The car boasts a number of unique and pricey extras: forged and very lightweight original 17-inch Rays wheels, a fully functional Lamco instrument cluster with an additional boost clock on the ignition switch, aluminum STI pedal covers, a Kenwood radio with a CD changer in the trunk, an original left-hand drive glove box, black left-hand drive carpet, and a complete spare tire set that has never been used.
The Subaru has been meticulously maintained and has always been stored in a heated garage with other cars in the collection. It’s only used in nice weather and hand-washed with appropriate car care products. Current mileage: 154,585 km, and the car still has its original Japanese battery. The underside has never been cleaned, painted, or restored! The car looks brand new from the bottom and is completely original. Every plastic and pin is in place!
Registered under a short VIN with a Ministry exemption in Poland, the individual D8 STI registration will be transferred to the new owner. Two sets of keys.
