Description
For sale is a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8, originally left-hand drive (LHD). I’ve owned the car for four years, during which time it was rebuilt from the bottom up. All suspension components were sandblasted and repainted. The underside of the car was derusted, painted, and protected. Wax was applied to the box sections. All bolts were sandblasted and galvanized to OEM specifications. The exterior was completely repainted. Since then, the car has covered about 500 km.
The gearbox has been overhauled, with all seals, bearings, and the third-gear synchronizer and springs replaced – all OEM Mitsubishi parts, with new oil. The clutch has been reinforced and new. The rear differential is a Cusco limited-slip differential, with new oil. The front Torsen differential is used, without ACD or AYC, so the car has a fully passive drivetrain, meaning it’s mechanical, like in the good old days, without electronics.
The brake calipers have been overhauled, sandblasted, disassembled, and reassembled. The discs and pads are in excellent condition, and the brake lines are steel-braided, with new brake fluid. The original wheels have been beaded and powder-coated, and the tires are new. The D2 coilover suspension is adjustable for stiffness and height. Of course, I still have the original suspension in its coilover box, which is in very good condition. The steering rack is short and has 2.2 turns. The lightweight aluminum hood and fenders are also included. The ABS is fully functional, and the front right sensor is new. Manual/automatic water jets for the intercooler are installed. The air conditioning has been removed under the hood (a compressor and hoses are included for a serious buyer). The factory central locking system is equipped with remote control. The interior is in very good condition, everything works, and the Recaro seats are deep. It has additional clocks in place of the radio, turbo boost, oil pressure, and oil temperature.
The engine is in very good condition, with 12.5-13 bar compression on each cylinder. Kelford 272 camshafts with adjustable camshafts, a rebuilt cylinder head bolted on ARP studs, fresh timing belt, new spark plugs and ignition coils, OEM oil and filter, Apexi air filter with adapter, a more powerful fuel pump, a 3-inch stainless steel exhaust from the turbo to the tailpipe (not loud, very pleasant sound), a turbo from an Evo IX, 4Turbo program with 340 HP and 498 NM.
The Evo is in very good condition and has always been stored in a heated garage with other cars in the collection. Of course, it’s registered in my name, with inspection until August 13, 2026, and insurance until February 16, 2026. The price is PLN 135,000, slightly negotiable.
