Original BC5 RSRA shell. Prepped into the rally car in the late 1990’s. Setup to replicate the Swedish Camel Car, either that or I just like Camels…

It sounds proper… that was the brief for the engine rebuild. Its too fast for me, but its also a load of fun and well loved as a car on events.

Well sorted car. Easy to drive.
– Full cage, tower to tower, plus the front towers have been strengthened. Its a good cage, well built to NZ standards. Includes period “Carlos Bars”
– Group A engine, rebuilt 2022 with all good internals (have receipts) and done minimal stage km since. Had all the latest sensors added so its fully managed by the link, so any issues it just shuts down.
– 5spd Close-Ratio Albins Kit with wider gears and modified gearbox casing, plus mesh barrier between the front diff and gear set.
– Top-mount intercooler + huge watersprayer tank
– Rear spare wheel mount (improves the balance I’m told)
– Link Engine Management, with switchable lag, intercooler sprayer
– Running 4.11 diffs, plate front and rear (R160), with a 20KG viscous centre. Last refreshed 8 events ago.
– Massive caster on the fronts, with custom top-mounts, improves the cars handling incredibly.
– Runs DMS 50mm struts, fully rebuilt and dyno’d about 6-8 events ago
– Stilo Intercom / Corbeau seats / Custom foot plates
– Flocked Dash & Roof Scoop
– Lift Pump and anti-surge tank
– Massive sump guard / rear diff guard, underbody protection and horror flaps.
– Rear Wheel scrapers
– 4pot front / 2 pot rear brakes
– Light pod and lights
– Approx 16 Speedline rims (the proper ones)
– There’s a lot more…

This is a well maintained car. Its ready to go as it sits. What could you do to make it better:
– MCA struts
– Handbrake
– Dogbox (or 6speed) + R180 rear diff (have a spare one)
– The body is good, but a strip and paint would make it 100%.
