1971 Volvo 142 GT historic rally car (appendix K)
— Ground up fully restored car for historic events like e.g. Historic Acropolis Rallye. Historic racing history in Targa Tasmania and Targa Newfoundland. Has not competed since restoration.
Prepared with special effort to save weight, and we achieved a fantastic 1030kgs in rally trim including 20 str of fuel, spare wheel and jack.
For circuit racing can be reduced well bellow 1000kgs.
Fiberglass hood, bonnet, front fenders. Polycarbonate side and rear windows.
— Very strong engine with high compression, stage 4 head, lightened and balanced rotating parts, mild rally cam, 48 Dellorto’s, 4-2-1 manifold.
Volvo sport close ratio 4 speed + overdrive, 4.88:1 final with plate type LSD.
— Light weight racing loom, race battery, Volvo sport instrument cluster, high torque starter, light weight alternator, under driven pulleys, heavy duty electrical fan.
— Twin master cylinder brake pumps with balancer, ( Can be reverted to standard ) , hydraulic hand brake, goodridge hard and soft pipes with Aeroeqip fittings.
— ATL fuel cell tank 80ltr. ( Blader needs renewal ) , twin pumps.
— Front suspenssion is fully uniball jointed and offer full adjustability and high precision.
— New bearings , seals, rotors, joints, and pads all round.
— Significant pakage of spares follows the car, Boxes of brake , electrical , engine, and transmission spares. Engine assembled bottom end, Assembled ported, large valves cylinder head, rally cam, transmission, rear axle, prop shafts, drive shafts, front axle, steering box, radiator, suspension arms . Large assortment of springs and shocks for different event set-ups, over 16 wheels including 8 new copomotive’s. Steel panels , doors , and fiberglass fenders as spares.
