VWM Volkswagen Motorsport Golf MK2 Group A

Description

The car ran in the DM from 1985 under the promotion of VW
Motorsport, so it is the original car as shown in the pictures. TP
chassis number!
Driven by Ludwig Damminger for VWM (winner Rallye Central Cup 1986), after that sold to former factory pilot Dieter Depping (winner German Rallye Trophy 1990), after that sold to Armin Holz.
First Golf MK2 ever ran with the 16V engine, the 16V was developed in this car before the works car of Kenneth Eriksson in the World Championship was getting the 16V.

The body was on the bench and got new rocker panels and a
rear panel, dip stripped and primed. This was done by Rüdiger
Wolf in Rockenhausen/Germany (well known at Slowly
sideways). I have painted the underbody and interior, this is
the current status (see pictures).

Its sold with all the parts except the engine and transmission.
Original factory suspension (springs freshly powdered,
dampers overhauled), original aluminum tank for the interior + fuel pumps, original Ronal R8 TRX rims from VW Motorsport, another set 7×15
Ronal R8, original VWM dome and engine mount, Brembo 4
pistons, instructions available (VW Motorsport documents),
Sheet metal parts are duplicated, 7 rib grill, lot of lamps, etc.
Engine mount and top mount group A stand.
