This is a true masterpiece from the famous Historic Motorsport, a builder of classic rally cars from the Netherlands. The Ford Escort Mexico (Olympic Blue) is an original car delivered in the Netherlands, with license plate 15-ED-17, from 1974. The Escort has always remained in the Netherlands. Five years ago, the Ford Escort was prepared into a classic rally car by Historic Motorsport, owned by the well-known Dutch rally hero and multiple Dutch champion Erwin Doctor, specifically for events such as the Wintertrail, Tulpenrallye, and Rallye Monte Carlo Historique. It competed in the Wintertrail in Eastern Europe three times, achieving a second place as its best result. Last summer, the Escort was completely stripped down and rebuilt. A new car, therefore, ready to go for a season of classic rallying. Due to a new hobby, the Ford Escort Mexico is available for sale.
