Description
This 1997 Seat Ibiza Kit Car is a rare example of the vintage rally special, created by Seat Sport for use in world, European and national rally championship competitions.
Under the hood lies a rebuilt and fine-tuned 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder 16-valve engine, which sends around 260 hp to the front wheels through a Hewland HP2000 six-speed sequential transmission.
First registered in Spain in April 1997, this Seat Ibiza kit car is known for having been driven first by Finnish rally driver Harri Rovanperä, and later by Erwin Weber, as well as by other well-known drivers such as Salvador Canellas and Jordi Ventura.

The car has participated in several competition events over the years, and has recently benefited from a complete engine and gearbox rebuild and overhaul, since which it has covered only 80 kilometers.
