Ford Escort Cosworth Group A – Considering Sale

I am considering selling my Ford Escort Cosworth Group A, a car with Irish rally history that is now used for hillclimb racing in Norway.

Originally driven by Frank Meagher, the car carries Mountune build plate 000010 and has been in Norway since 2007.

Specification:
• 2.1-litre Cosworth YB engine
• Life Racing ECU
• Up to approximately 780 hp at the wheels, depending on engine map
• Xtrac 140 six-speed sequential gearbox
• Large Ford Motorsport differentials: 8.5-inch front and 9.5-inch rear
• AP Racing six-piston brakes and Reiger suspension
• Premier Fuel Systems fuel tank, renewed in 2024
• Weight approximately 1,400 kg including driver

The car has delivered strong results in Norwegian hillclimb events, including two wins at Lillehammer in 2025 and another two wins in 2026. At the 2026 Lillehammer event, it was the fastest car of the weekend, running approximately 680 hp.
